What is POLYBANK?

POLYBANK is a material data bank for storing viscosity model parameters (obtained from VISCOFIT or another similar regression program) and other properties such as density, thermal conductivity, and heat capacity. A data bank containing over a hundred materials has been created by POLYDYNAMICS. The user can, of course, input the data and use them with the simulation packages. The combination of simulation software with VISCOFIT and POLYBANK allows for quick and easy comparison of performance of various polymer grades.

POLYBANK is provided free of charge to users who purchase one of the Polycad Software Suite packages which is designed to interface with POLYBANK (these are EXTRUCAD, PROFILECAD, FLATCAD, LAYERCAD, SPIRALCAD, CALENDERCAD, POLYCAD 2-D, and VISCOFIT).
